About

Built next to the businesses that use it

BizBoard is made in Prague for small and medium businesses across Europe. Not in a workshop with sticky notes about a persona — in actual shops and kitchens, with the people whose month it is.

5 separate tools the average small business runs on, none of which speak to each other
5 weeks before a supplier price rise is typically noticed

One place where the buying, the selling, the stock and the hours finally meet

Why it exists

The money goes in the gaps between the tools

A small business in Europe runs on four or five separate tools that do not speak to each other: something for invoices, something for the till, a spreadsheet for cash, a paper rota, and a folder of receipts that becomes an email to the accountant once a month. Each tool is fine. The gaps between them are where the money goes.

And the gaps are always the same four

  1. A supplier price movesand nobody notices for five weeks, because the evidence arrives as a slightly larger number on one bill among nineteen.
  2. A dish or a product is priced against costs from two years agoand the one everybody orders turns out to be the one carrying the worst margin.
  3. Hours are added up after the week is overwhich is exactly when nothing can be done about them any more.
  4. The month-end is a weekend of workbecause nothing was ready, and the accountant has to ask for it one document at a time.

What we believe

Four decisions the product is built on

Each of these costs us something. That is rather the point — a principle you never pay for is a slogan.

Arithmetic first, AI second

Every figure in BizBoard is worked out from your own data and works with AI switched off entirely. AI, when you connect your own key, writes the paragraph on top — it does not produce the numbers. A tool that cannot explain where a figure came from is a tool you cannot act on.

Say what is not known

Our country packs carry the law each rate is published in and the date it applied from, and where nothing has been reviewed by a paid local expert, the app says so on the screen rather than letting silence read as approval. It is less impressive and it is the only honest option for software that touches tax.

The accountant is not an upsell

Their login is free on every plan including the cheapest. Charge for that seat and a small business simply will not buy it, and then everyone is back to emailing a zip file — which was the problem.

A login should not open everything

Staff can log their hours without seeing the revenue. An accountant can close a month without seeing payroll or your bank details. That is how the pages work, not a setting somebody has to remember to switch on.

Where we are

Four countries, properly

Prague, building for Czechia, Germany, France and Switzerland first, because those are the markets we can get right — the language, the VAT, the invoice rules, the e-invoicing standard and the file the local accountant actually imports.

Getting one country genuinely right is more useful than getting twenty approximately right. Every rate on those pages carries the law it comes from, so you can check us.

We are not going to dress this in logos

We are a young company. We would rather tell you that than dress the site in logos and five-star quotes that do not belong to anyone.

No country's detailed tax rules have been signed off by a paid local expert yet, and the app says so on the screens where it matters. We have not completed a SOC 2 or ISO 27001 audit.

If you want to know how something works before you trust it with your books, ask us and you will get a straight answer from a person.
