Terms
The terms, in language you can actually check
What you get, what you owe, what we are responsible for and what we are not, and how either side walks away.
To be completed before this page goes live.
The contracting entity and governing law need the operating company's real details, and this page should be reviewed by a lawyer in your main market. Nothing here is legal advice.
1. Who this is between
These terms are between […] (we, us) and the business that opens an account (you). By opening an account you accept them on behalf of that business.
2. What we provide
Access to BizBoard as a hosted service, on the plan you have chosen, for as long as you keep paying for it. We may change and improve the service; we will not remove something you rely on without telling account holders first.
3. Your account and your team
You are responsible for who you give a login to and for what they do with it. Each person should have their own — sharing one removes the record of who did what, which is the main reason the roles exist. Tell us promptly if you believe an account has been compromised.
4. Your data
The records you put into BizBoard remain yours. We process them to provide the service, as set out in the privacy policy. You can export them while your account is open. We do not sell them and we do not use one customer's data to build a feature for another.
5. Payment
Plans are billed monthly in advance, per business, in the currency of your market. Prices are shown without VAT; what is added depends on your country and whether you have given us a valid VAT number. Extra logins are charged per login per month.
If a payment fails we will tell you and try again before anything is restricted. We will not delete your data because of a failed payment without warning you first.
6. Changing or cancelling
You can change plan in either direction from inside the app. Moving up takes effect immediately and is charged pro rata; moving down takes effect at the end of the period you have paid for. You can cancel at any time, and the subscription runs to the end of the period already paid. There is no minimum term and no cancellation fee.
7. What BizBoard is not
BizBoard is software, not an accountant, a tax adviser or a lawyer. The country packs give VAT rates and format information with the source cited so you can check them, and the advisor gives general guidance. Neither is advice about your particular business, and decisions that matter should be confirmed with a qualified professional in your country. You remain responsible for your own filings.
8. Availability
We work to keep the service running and will give notice of planned maintenance where we can. We do not promise it will never be unavailable. Where something goes wrong at our end, tell us and we will fix it and say what happened.
9. Acceptable use
Do not use BizBoard to break the law, to store data you have no right to hold, to attack or overload the service, or to resell access without agreeing that with us first. We may suspend an account that is doing one of these, and will explain why.
10. Liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including for death, personal injury or fraud. Subject to that, our liability to you in any twelve-month period is limited to the fees you paid in that period, and neither side is liable for indirect or consequential loss.
11. Ending it
You may close your account at any time. We may end the agreement if you materially breach these terms and do not put it right after we have asked. On termination you can export your data for a reasonable period before it is deleted, subject to documents we are legally required to retain.
12. Changes to these terms
If we change these terms in a way that matters, account holders will be told by email before the change takes effect, and you may cancel if you do not accept it.
13. Law and courts
These terms are governed by the law of […], and the courts of […] have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer rather than a business, mandatory protections in your own country still apply.
